Floral Reflections SOLD
Floral Reflections 30x40 Sold.
This fresh liquid field of blue watery splashes of cool color, surrounded by warm yellows, oranges and reds that reside in this composition of feminine movements comprised of sensual swirls, circles and arcs. What one would imagine if flowers live under a surface of H2O. Almost totally free of masculine hard edges, straight lines or right angles. This canvas found a home with a notable collector in Blacksburg, Virginia.

Harkrader's Urban series has been a popular series for collectors. This Urban canvas has a soft warm and cool palette with heavy textures. Movement provides a gentle action for the eye as gentle waves of architectural shapes flag in the composition. This movement and the restful areas that surround them sit atop fields of warm earth. This canvas was purchased by an architect for their private residence.

Canvas title for 36x66 = Symphonic Floral (a musical composition, many times in four movements and my flowers represent the movement)
Canvas title for 60x66 = Floral Architecture (relates to the environment in which flowers live and/or to the structure of the flower itself - ‘Biomimicry’)

Vessel IV
This painting was sold by my Philadelphia art agent, Ron Crider, to a collector in New York. Titled 'Vessel IV', this mixed medium painting is "36x48", heavily textured and some of the raised medium is lightly rubbed with 'faux gold'. Elevated text, lines, and pours accompany deep layers of paint and medium to give the surface a 3-dimensional quality. Some of the raised text read as 'sexinthecitynewversionxxx&other'. Below the depth layers reside one minimal collage element. The collector who bought this canvas also bought 'Vessel III'. Artist agents generally do not disclose their clients to the artist; therefore I solicit the collector who purchased these canvases contibute to the provenance by contacting the artist at http://www.harkraderx.com/
